Fees
My fees for both counselling and psychotherapy are £70 per 50 minute session. My fees for couples are £105 per 75 minute session. I may sometimes have a reduced fee slot available for someone on a low income. I normally see people weekly at a regular time.
First session
The first session is important for both of us. I see it as a kind of mutual assessment. You need to feel that the fit is right and I need to feel confident that I am the best person to help you.
Having agreed to work together we may agree on a fixed number of sessions or to keep the relationship open-ended. Whichever route we choose we will review our progress after 4-6 weeks to make sure we are satisfied with how things are progressing. I like to have regular reviews with my clients to make sure that we are on track.
Newbury Practice
My practice is based at Bartholomew House, 38 London Rd, Newbury RG14 1JX. It is at the top floor of a Georgian building used by Quintons estate agents. There is parking at the Pelican Lane car park ( RG14 1NU) which is only a one minute walk away. Ring the buzzer marked Helen Franklin.
